21st-22nd Oct 08 Learning to Lead Together

The Christian Muslim Forum are running a conference for Christian ministers, Muslim imams and preachers who want to explore together important issues associated with preaching in our multi-faith society.

The similarities and differences between the two preaching traditions will be examined by the participants, who will discuss the purpose of preaching and how to go about it in multi-faith England.  In particular, the conference will focus on mutual learning in the fields of:

  • Effective Sermons
  • Hermeneutics (scriptural interpretation)
  • Contemporary Issues in Sermons

Each field will be examined by Christian and Muslim speakers with delegates questioning, discussing and learning from each religious tradition. Click for more information.
