Mentoring Programmes for future leaders
Watch the Undergraduate ParliaMentors Graduation 2008 Video, directed and produced by future DocuMentor Thomas Guerrier.

Our programmes give young people practical career support and broaden their horizons in regard to religious and cultural differences.

Trios of students (one Muslim, Christian and Jewish student per group) work with a mentor on a career-related, team project over a period of several months. The projects they work on are designed to have a positive social impact. The result is new long-lasting friendships and professional collaboration between young people of different faiths and cultures. Over time this generates an ever-expanding group of alumni who will eventually become leaders of society, having developed a heightened awareness and understanding of diversity.

Current projects include:
ParliaMentors - nurturing the next generation of politicians with the support of MPs
DocuMentors - recording young people's views on their identities as they participate in interfaith programmes.

Our next venture, Business ManageMentors, will connect business administration students with top business managers. In the future we plan on developing similar programmes involving students in the areas of finance, law and medicine.
